  • Do I have to have a full body massage?

    NO, you don't, I will only do the areas requested.

  • How much does it cost?

    Prices vary and are based on the length of massage received. Please see services & prices page.

  • I still feel pain and stiffness after my massage?

    The chronic musculoskeletal condition needs on-going attention. The effect of remedial massage may appear within 2-3 days.

  • Can I talk during my session?

    Sure, If you'd like to talk go right ahead. The important thing to remember is that this treatment is all about you relaxing and enjoying the experience.

  • Do you charge a cancellation fee?

    Yes, I do. If an appointment is cancelled without sufficient notice a cancellation fee maybe charged at the therapist discretion.

  • What if I fall sleep?

    It's not uncommon for many clients to fall asleep on the table during a massage. The warmth and release of tension relaxes them right to sleep, especially after a long day at work.

  • Do I need to do anything to prepare for my massage?

    Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment to fill out your client information form. It is best not to eat directly before your massage or drink alcohol. However you should have had something to eat in the previous 3 hours prior to your massage especially if you have low blood sugar or low blood pressure.

  • Where is your clinic located?

    Our Zensations Massage clinic is located in Hervey Bay.

  • Should I have a massage when I am sick?

    Generally no, it’s best to wait until you are feeling better, or non-contagious.

  • Where will my massage session take place?

    Your massage will take place in a warm, comfortable and quiet room. Soft music will be played to help you relax. You will lie on a table or sit in the chair provided if unable to lay down..

  • Will the practitioner be present when I undress?

    NO, I will leave the room while you undress, relax onto the table, and cover yourself with a clean sheet and blanket.

  • Do I have to be completely undressed?

    You should undress to the level you are comfortable.

  • What if I’m ticklish?

    I’ve worked with many people who were ticklish. I can vary the pressure, depth, and pace of the massage strokes so that you won’t feel tickled.

  • Can my Gift Certificate be exchanged for money?

    No your Gift Certificate cannot be exchanged for money.

  • What if I loose my Gift Certificate?

    If the Gift Certificate is lost it cannot be refunded or redeemed.
